Welcome to the Great Lakes Cigar Festival. These Terms and Conditions govern ticket purchases, attendance, and participation in the event. By purchasing a ticket or attending the festival, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. General Event Terms

  • Age Requirement: The event is strictly 21 and over. A valid, government-issued photo ID must be presented at entry.
  • Festival Hours: The event will take place on July 27, 2025, during designated hours. Entry outside of these hours is not permitted.
  • Entry with Bracelet: Upon check-in, all attendees will receive a festival bracelet, which must be worn at all times. Entry and re-entry are only permitted with an intact, official bracelet. Lost or removed bracelets will not be replaced.

2. Ticket Purchase & Admission

  • All Sales Final: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as specified in our Refund and Return Policy.
  • Third-Party Ticketing Platform: Tickets are sold through Eventbrite (or another authorized ticket provider). Eventbrite’s terms may apply to your purchase.
  • Ticket Transfers: You may transfer a ticket to another individual who meets the 21+ age requirement.
  • Lost or Stolen Tickets: We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.

3. Event Conduct & Prohibited Items

All attendees are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully. The following behaviors and items are prohibited:

  • Harassment, disorderly conduct, or intoxicated behavior.
  • Weapons of any kind, including firearms and knives.
  • Outside food, beverages, or cigars (except as permitted by event organizers).
  • Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia.
  • Large bags (see bag policy for permitted sizes).
  • Professional photography or video recording without prior approval.

Violations may result in removal from the event without a refund.

4. Smoking & Alcohol Policy

  • Cigars Only: Smoking is permitted only during festival hours and in designated areas.
  • Outside Cigars: Only cigars purchased or provided by vendors at the festival are permitted.
  • Responsible Alcohol Consumption: Alcoholic beverages will be available, but overconsumption and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

5. Weather Policy

  • The event will take place rain or shine.
  • Severe weather may lead to temporary delays, but tickets are non-refundable due to weather conditions.
  • Updates regarding weather conditions will be communicated via festival staff and official channels.

6. Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket and attending the festival, you acknowledge and accept the following:

  • You assume all risks associated with attending an outdoor event, including exposure to secondhand smoke, inclement weather, and large crowds.
  • The festival organizers, venue, sponsors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
  • Attendees agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Great Lakes Cigar Festival and its affiliates from any claims arising from event participation.

7. Photography & Media Release

  • By attending, you consent to photography and video recording. Images and footage may be used for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform event staff upon arrival.

8. Accessibility & Special Accommodations

  • The festival is committed to providing accessible pathways, restrooms, and designated seating areas for guests with disabilities.
  • Service animals are permitted, but emotional support animals are not allowed.

For accessibility requests, contact us at contactus@greatlakescigarfest.com at least two weeks before the event.

9. Privacy Policy

All personal data collected during ticket purchases is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your information will not be sold or shared with unauthorized third parties.

10. Event Changes & Cancellation

  • The festival reserves the right to change event details (schedule, location, vendors).
  • In case of event cancellation, organizers will provide refund or rescheduling options, as applicable.
