At the Great Lakes Cigar Festival, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for all attendees. The following Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms for ticket purchases, event cancellations, and refunds. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms below.


1. Ticket Refund Policy

  • All Sales Are Final: Tickets to the Great Lakes Cigar Festival are non-refundable. Once a purchase is made, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • Personal schedule conflicts
    • Weather conditions (rain or shine event)
    • Travel disruptions
    • Illness or emergencies
  • Non-Refundable Processing Fees: Any service fees charged by Eventbrite or other third-party ticketing providers are non-refundable.


2. Ticket Transfers & Resale Policy

  • Ticket Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another individual who meets the 21+ age requirement.
  • Transfer Process: The ticket holder is responsible for transferring tickets through Eventbrite or another approved method. Festival organizers are not responsible for personal ticket exchanges.
  • Unauthorized Resale: Tickets may not be resold at a higher price. Any ticket found being resold above face value may be voided without notice.

3. Event Cancellation Policy

  • Event Cancellation by Organizers:

    • If the Great Lakes Cigar Festival is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., venue closure, government regulations, or extreme weather conditions that threaten safety), ticket holders will be given one of the following options:
      • A rescheduled event date (your ticket will remain valid).
      • A partial refund, depending on expenses already incurred by the festival.
      • A credit towards the next year’s festival.
  • Force Majeure Clause: If the event is canceled due to an act of God, natural disaster, pandemic, or other force majeure events, refunds may not be provided. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer ticket credits.

  • No-Show Policy: Attendees who fail to attend the festival for any reason will not be eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.


4. Vendor & Merchandise Refund Policy

  • On-Site Purchases: Any merchandise, cigars, or other products purchased at the festival are non-refundable and must be inspected at the time of purchase.
  • Defective or Damaged Goods: Returns or exchanges for damaged goods must be handled directly with the vendor before leaving the festival grounds. The festival organizers are not responsible for vendor transactions.
